The Fox Inn has 3 horses in training with Emma Lavelle. Emma trains mainly National Hunt horses at her stables in Hatherden – about 3 mins from The Fox, and one horse with Richard Hannon - trained about 15mins away near Collingbourne Ducis.
The horses with Emma Lavelle are: -
UTTOXETER 12th November 3 Miles Beginners Chase 1st
TAUNTON 19th January 2 Miles 3 furlongs H'cap Chase unplaced
After being out of of action for 18 months due to injury, Chariot Charger won his 2011 debut. An amazing performance by both horse and trainer (Emma Lavelle). We all eagerly await his next racecourse visit! Finished out of the frame at Taunton on ground that was too quick, now looking for a novice chase on softer ground!
CHEPSTOW 25th October 2 Mile Novice Hurlde unplaced
TAUNTON 10th November 2 Mile Novice Hurdle 2nd
Daymar Bay has had 2 runs over the hurdles this season, finishing in 11th and 2nd place respectivley. He will come out again soon and hopefully get his head in front. Lots of small niggles are now behind him, due out 17th or 18th February - Looks in fantastic condition.
