The Fox Inn is a beautifully restored English country pub and Thai restaurant in the village of Tangley – located just four miles north of the old market town of Andover, and nestled amongst the picturesque Hampshire countryside.

The Fox Inn offers a relaxing, friendly and inviting destination for locals and visitors alike, with our experienced bar and restaurant staff extending a warm Tangley welcome to all.

Thai Restaurant & Kitchen

Our Thai restaurant and kitchen is open 7 days a week serving delicious, authentic Thai food for lunch and dinner, available either in the restaurant or bar areas. We also offer a Thai Takeaway service too (collection only).

The Fox Inn’s experienced Thai chefs lovingly prepare and create each dish from the Thai Menu to order, using only the freshest ingredients. The team of Thai chefs, including a former chef to the Thai Royal Family, have been handpicked by The Fox Inn’s owner, who has over 15 years experience successfully running British pubs serving Thai cuisine of the highest quality.



Bar, Dining Room & Function Room

The Fox Inn features several rooms which have been lovingly refurbished in a traditional, yet modern style, where you can meet and relax over a quiet drink with family and friends, and experience quality Thai food.

The restaurant dining room features a traditional inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove, and has been beautifully designed and decorated to create a formal but relaxed ambience in which to savour our classic Thai cuisine accompanied by a fine selection from our wine list.

We have two main bar areas, with open fireplaces, sofas, tub chairs and dining tables, where you can settle in with a drink and experience our Thai menu in more casual surroundings. Of course you’re always welcome to pull up a bar stool and enjoy a beer and a chat at the bar!

The Racing Room, with direct access to the main bar area and front beer garden, offers additional seating and dining tables in a more private setting, and a perfect venue to host your next private function.

Beer Garden & Patio Area

The Fox Inn has two outside areas: an enclosed patio area to the rear, and a stunning beer garden at the front of the pub, with garden benches and beautiful views over the surrounding countryside - perfect for al fresco dining and a cold drink on a warm summer's day. A large umbrella offers shade during the day, with heaters for the cooler evenings.

For those wishing to build up a thirst or to walk off their Thai meal, the surrounding countryside offers beautiful country lane walks around the fields and woodland of Tangley village, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

There is ample parking space at The Fox Inn, with private car parks to the front and rear of the pub.
